MDF Waste Board / Plate

  1. Mount the plate, there should be 5 screws, 1 in each corner and 1 in the center.
  2. Use double-sided tape to secure your material to the MDF plate
  3. Burnish down the tape
  4. Push down FIRMLY

Possible File Sources

Low-Profile Vice

  • 2″ x 8″
  • 6.5″ Maximum clamping width
  • Attach sideways to the Nomad using the button head screws

Usage

  • Move inner moving jaw against the material, THEN lock in the outer moving jaw
  • Tighten the 2 vertical screws in the outer jaws, then lock piece in w/ the horizontal/angled screws

Corner Jig

  • Has consistent right-angle reference at one corner

Threaded Table

  • ~0.5″ thick
  • ~50 M6x1 threaded holes
  • Attach to the Nomad w/ 5 M6 screws
  • Intended for greater flexibility in work-holding options
    • Ex/ The Tiger-Claw clamps can be mounted into this plate

Flip Jig

  • “allows you to cut both sides of a part while maintaining perfect alignment”
  • can hold material < 3″ x 5″ x 1.2″
  • Useful for two-sided machining
  • Mounts to the corners on the MDF plate
