Learn to use MicroPython to control a Raspberry Pico microcontroller. This is the second part of a two-part class meant to introduce microcontrollers to complete beginners in the field. If you already have some experience with the Pico microcontroller you’re welcome to attend, but the rest of the class will be picking up where they left off in part one.
Microcontrollers are probably the most straightforward platform for controlling the real world with code. By using MicroPython you can manipulate small circuits connected to the device that can read sensors, drive motors, send data and requests over the internet, and more.
This class is available to denhac members only, and at no additional charge.
Make sure to come prepared with a Raspberry Pico W (V1 or V2) and the associated programming cable. All other hardware like resistors and LEDs should be available at denhac already.
