We are initiating a formal effort to improve our shared space! We’re focusing on organization, floorplan flow, and upgrading our member storage system.
As many of you may know, we have some projects already in motion, including planned upgrades scheduled for April 25th. Our goal for this meeting is to begin building out an actionable plan and budget for our new member storage.
With the next board budget proposal deadline on May 4th, this is our window to solidify these plans into a concrete proposal.
Agenda
- Lava→Fish Shelf Project: Finalizing execution details for the work currently in motion.
- Member Storage: Turning long-standing ideas into a formal plan for new shelving.
- Budgeting: Outlining costs to ensure we are ready for the May 4th board submission.
- Volunteer Coordination: Identifying project leads and establishing a build schedule.
- Future Planning: Brainstorm ideas for the next meeting (chairs, tables, drawers, boxes, layouts)
We’ll have a Google Meet session open for remote attendance.
Otherwise, we want this to be a space-wide effort, so your input is vital even if you cannot attend. Please join the #help-storage channel on Slack to stay in the loop, view the meeting notes, and contribute to the build schedule as it develops.
We look forward to seeing you there and moving toward a more organized, sustainable denhac.
