Please bring either fresh or pre-pressed plants/flowers and learn how to add them into your stained glass artwork! This method works best on plants that can be easily squished flat. You will also learn the essentials of glass cutting, foil wrapping, and soldering in order to make your very own stained glass project.
Preserving plants can cause them to lose color. Sunlight exposure will cause color to fade more quickly.
You can make stained glass artwork with a mixture of art glass and preserved plants. Plan for your project to take about 2-3 hours of work. The more pieces your design has, the longer it will take to create. If we are not busy, walk-ins are welcome. The soldering process can create a bottleneck. Please be prepared for a wait at some workstations, depending on attendance. Consider bringing something to keep you busy if a line forms. Join #help-stained-glass on slack for more information.
We have staggered start times, that is why there are multiple events back to back.
This event is for denhac members only.
