Overview
Learn to sew from scratch by making your own glasses case — a simple, three-layer project that sews up into a tube.
What You’ll Learn
- Threading and basic machine operation
- Installing interfacing
- Sewing straight seams to form a tube
- Turning and finishing a small project
- How to cut a pattern out using the projector
Who This Is For
True beginners — this class assumes zero machine experience and teaches the fundamentals (threading, basic troubleshooting) as part of the session.
What’s Provided / What to Bring
- Provided: Everything — no need to bring anything extra
Notes
Despite including interfacing installation, this stays a true 100-level project: only 3 layers, all smaller pieces, and a straightforward tube construction — not the more complex cutting/pressing work that would push it toward 200/300.
