Intro to Sewing – Make and Take – Level 300

Class requirement: Attend Intro to Sewing 200 or have experience making items separately from classes.

Skills needed: Understanding of seam allowance, ability to correct simple sewing machine issues including threading and changing a bobbin, measure using rulers, and cut along ruler lines.

Potential Skills obtained: Pockets, bias tape installation, create a large pattern on fabric, zipper installation, use of interfacing and batting, working with thick fabrics, sewing machine needle and foot changes
