Intermediate garment making: Jeogori

Learn how to make an Jeogori, you will leave with the understanding of how to create a wrap shirt and what a dart is, how to install one, how to create a tie out of fabric, how to attach sleeves, how to create clean and presentable clothing items.

You will likely not finish this garment during the class time. You will have a better chance to do so if you cut out your pattern beforehand.

Please note that you will need to be at Denhac and connected to the wifi to download the pattern. You can use the projector at 25% to correctly cut out these pieces.

Note that the pattern is drafted on someone who is 5’2″ and you may need to add length, reach out in advance and we can meet to determine how much to add. For reference, my friend who is 5’10” had to add 7 inches to the front and back to get a full coverage jeogori but the jeogori is designed to be more of a cropped wrap shirt that comes to the waist rather than the hips for the women’s design. It is designed to come to the hips for the men’s design.
