A wood lathe authorization is required for each attendee. Do not sign up for this class if you haven’t been certified to use the wood lathe yet.
This class will demonstrate putting Celtic knots in turned objects with a focus on pens and handles. If you would like to turn an inlaid pen yourself then please bring a pen kit that only requires a single piece of wood. You can get kits from Penn State Industries, Rockler, Woodcraft, Craft Supplies USA, Turner’s Warehouse, or Woodturningz. There are free wood pen blanks available under the lathe. If you have small scraps of nicer woods that you don’t know what to do with (and we all know you do), this is your opportunity to use them.
