Module: Basic Machine Setup & Operation

Course Description
This introductory module covers the essential skills needed to operate our 7 needle embroidery machine safely and independently. No prior experience required. Students will learn standard machine setup using default settings only, no custom adjustments or troubleshooting beyond the basics.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, students will be able to:

• Thread the sewing machine correctly
• Set up and secure fabric in the embroidery/sewing hoop
• Thread the machine needle
• Wind a bobbin
• Insert the bobbin case into the machine
• Change thread colors/types as needed

Skills Check
Instructor stays with each student until the machine is threaded correctly and a test stitch confirms everything is working.
