Usage/Guidelines

  1. Apply PPE.
    1. cutting rated shield for eyes.
    2. Respirator. Open garage door  
    3. Gloves 
    4. Protection against slag spraying every where and on you 
    5. Review dangers of plasma cutting before use.
  2. Identify your material and the thickness. Use this info and the chart on the side of the machine to determine the  amps and Air flow recommendations.  
  3. Set the air flow rate on the regulator located next to the air hose spool. Currently, this is on the opposite wall from the plasma cutter. 
  4. Turn on: plug machine into outlet. flip the switch on the back to the on position. 
  5. Set the amps with the up and down arrows on the digital read out. 
  6. Clamp ground clip to work or table. Ensure there is continuity from your work to the ground clip. 
  7. Align torch with work. slide hand under yellow switch guard, squeeze red trigger to start cutting. 
  8. Monitor speed to improve cut quality and reduce dross.
