3D Printing SIG

Wiki

The 3D Printing Special Interest Group is charged with maintaining and training for the 3D printers at Denhac. This includes both FDM (Fused Deposit Modeling) and SLS (stereolithography) 3D printers.

We have a yearly budget for maintenance of the printers, replacement parts, and some materials that are purchased by the space as needed to provide for members to print without needing to provide their own materials. We also accept donations of 1.75mm filament!

The SIG also will propose new printers for purchase by the membership for use at Denhac and works hard on helping make sure that Denhac continues to have state of the art 3D printing capabilities.

We meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 19:00 (right before open house). All are welcome to attend and provide feedback on how we can improve the 3D printing experience at Denhac.

For 2026 we hope to purchase additional new 3D printers to expand the capabilities and availability to the Denhac membership.
