SUMMARY:TIG Welder Authorization Class
DESCRIPTION:Completing and passing this class will authorize you to operate
  the TIG welder in the metal shop. We will discuss safe operation of the m
 achine\, the welding process\, and what to look for in an ideal weld.\n\nI
 t is very highly recommended you take the introduction to metal shop safet
 y class prior to this class\, however it is not currently required.\n\nYou
  must wear appropriate clothing to the class. All clothing MUST be made fr
 om natural fibers. Closed-toe shoes\, preferably resistant to metal chips 
 / slag. Optimal: boots with long pants covering the tops. No loose clothin
 g or accessories\, tie up hair. Protect yourself from the UV light TIG pro
 duces! Recommended to wear long sleeve shirts and use sunscreen on exposed
  skin. All other PPE will be provided.\n\nThis class is available to denha
 c members only\, and at no additional charge.
