DESCRIPTION:Metal Shop Safety Authorization Required\nCompleting and passin
 g this class will authorize you to operate the TIG welder in the metal sho
 p. We will discuss safe operation of the machine\, the welding process\, a
 nd what to look for in an ideal weld. It is required to take the metal sho
 p safety course prior to the TIG welding class. You must wear appropriate 
 clothing to the class. All clothing MUST be made from natural fibers. Clos
 ed-toe shoes\, preferably resistant to metal chips / slag. Optimal: boots 
 with long pants covering the tops. No loose clothing or accessories\, tie 
 up hair. Protect yourself from the UV light TIG produces! Recommended to w
 ear long sleeve shirts and use sunscreen on exposed skin. All other PPE wi
 ll be provided. This class is available to denhac members only\, and at no
  additional charge.
