SUMMARY:TIG Welder Authorization Class
DESCRIPTION:\nMetal Shop Safety Authorization Required\n\nCompleting and pa
 ssing this class will authorize you to operate the TIG welder in the metal
  shop. We will discuss safe operation of the machine\, the welding process
 \, and what to look for in an ideal weld.\n\nIt is required to take the me
 tal shop safety course prior to the TIG welding class.\n\nYou must wear ap
 propriate clothing to the class. All clothing MUST be made from natural fi
 bers. Closed-toe shoes\, preferably resistant to metal chips / slag. Optim
 al: boots with long pants covering the tops. No loose clothing or accessor
 ies\, tie up hair. Protect yourself from the UV light TIG produces! Recomm
 ended to wear long sleeve shirts and use sunscreen on exposed skin. All ot
 her PPE will be provided.\n\nThis class is available to denhac members onl
 y\, and at no additional charge.
