SUMMARY:TIG Welder Authorization Class
DESCRIPTION:Metal Shop Safety Authorization Required\n\nCompleting and pass
 ing this class will authorize you to operate the TIG welder in the metal s
 hop. We will discuss safe operation of the machine\, the welding process\,
  and what to look for in an ideal weld.\n\nIt is required to take the meta
 l shop safety course prior to the TIG welding class.\n\nYou must wear appr
 opriate clothing to the class. All clothing MUST be made from natural fibe
 rs. Closed-toe shoes\, preferably resistant to metal chips / slag. Optimal
 : boots with long pants covering the tops. No loose clothing or accessorie
 s\, tie up hair. Protect yourself from the UV light TIG produces! Recommen
 ded to wear long sleeve shirts and use sunscreen on exposed skin. All othe
 r PPE will be provided.\n\nThis class is available to denhac members only\
 , and at no additional charge.
