SUMMARY:TIG Welder Authorization Class
DESCRIPTION:Completing and passing this class will authorize you to operate
  the TIG welder in the metal shop. We will discuss safe operation of the m
 achine\, the welding process\, and what to look for in an ideal weld.\n\nI
 t is required to take the metal shop safety course prior to the TIG weldin
 g class.\n\nYou must wear appropriate clothing to the class. All clothing 
 MUST be made from natural fibers. Closed-toe shoes\, preferably resistant 
 to metal chips / slag. Optimal: boots with long pants covering the tops. N
 o loose clothing or accessories\, tie up hair. Protect yourself from the U
 V light TIG produces! Recommended to wear long sleeve shirts and use sunsc
 reen on exposed skin. All other PPE will be provided.\n\nThis class is ava
 ilable to denhac members only\, and at no additional charge.
