SUMMARY:Metal Lathe Authorization Class
DESCRIPTION:Completing and Passing this class will authorize you to operate
  the metalworking lathes we have in the metal shop. We will go over basic 
 setup and operation of the machine as well as some basic theory on machini
 ng. It's not required but highly recommended you be familiar with some bas
 ic machining concepts before taking this class.\n\nThere are resources onl
 ine as well as some books and manuals in the metal shop area that are good
  starting resources for learning about operating these machines.  You are
  also encouraged to ask on slack in the #help-metalwork channel for advic
 e.\n\nThis class is available to denhac members only\, and at no additiona
 l charge.
