DESCRIPTION:Only sign up for this class after you've completed the homework
  section of the wiki.\n\nLearn to use the CNC Routers and get authorized t
 o use them. The CNC Routers are capable of machining almost any material b
 ecause it uses a spinning end mill to selectively remove stock material un
 til you're left with your final part. These machines are most commonly use
 d on sheets of plywood\, hardwood\, polycarbonate\, acrylic\, and aluminum

 s and familiarize yourself with everything before showing up to class. Alt
 hough you can still take the class\, you will need to know how to do CAD a
 nd CAM using Fusion 360 or some other workflow before you'll have any file
 s to run on these machines. If you've never used a CNC machine then please
  sign up for a CAD class or request one in the #compuer-aided-design chann
 el before signing up for this CNC authorization.
