Traveling Hackers

I have a couple of traveling hackers staying with me! Koen Martens (gmc) & Flyko have been traveling thru the US since 10/27, visiting hackerspaces and experiencing the U.S. of A. They are on a 6-week tour which will take them from Seattle, WA to Miami, FL. They are broadcasting their trip on Signal, the hackerspace radio every Thursday as well.  Koen is from the Netherlands, having been involved with Brucon and HAR2009, as well as starting a hackerspace in Den Haag called Revspace. Flyko is affiliated with 2600 and is currently working on a project to digitize future issues of the hacker quarterly for the Kindle. In an effort to keep costs down, they have been looking for places to stay while they travel. In exchange they cook dinner for their hosts! They made a great dinner last night and are the best of guests, so if you’re in/around one of the cities which they will be visiting, see if you can’t give’em a place to sleep for a night or two. They’re here in Denver to visit a couple of hackerspaces in the area and will be leaving on Tuesday to go to Kansas City and eventually Chicago.
